The idea was born from the desire to explore innovative modelling systems, so as to
reproduce the effect of the hand folded paper.

An iterative path, the paper will be the model for the central part (main body) of the
rings, photographed and transformed into a digital file and finally printed out on a 3D
printer.

The print out will be then integrated with traditional lost wax techniques to create the
jewel.

The layered effect of the 3D printer bring personality and originality to the newly
created object and they are therefore maintained and enhanced in the bronze model.

The result is far from being artificial and doesn’t match the idea of a prototypical
creation.

The final result is an object that has a sea wave outlook and combines the concepts
of unicity and reproducibility.
