Internal Strut Frame / International Manufacturing Show

Inspired by the internal structures found in bird wing bones, the ISF (Internal Strut Frame) is a single piece construct that rethinks the manufacturing process of the modern automobile, stemming from new developments in large scale 3D printing methods.

The ISF is a study in creating a new generation of automobile that relies not on forms found within the conventional manufacturing processes but is rather a design that results solely from shapes that can only be created and produced through means of additive manufacturing and 3D printing technologies.
